DESCRIPTION:
Mixed lot: A Self Winding Clock Co, NY, "No. 9 Regulator" case, now with a large Seth Thomas double spring #40 style movement, and with a meter pendulum. This is the 1887 version with full glass door w/ no dial surround.
CONDITION:
the oak case itself is in pretty good condition with original finish, and certainly of interest to the Self Winding collector. Supposedly the current mov't was re-worked to be compatible with a meter pendulum, but the suspension spring is broken and we are Not able to verify that it will keep time. So you should really be looking at this as a case and pendulum [with replaced stick], and a separate signed Seth Thomas dial and movement. Ht 70"
